About this Affiliate

Will forged a love for building at age 16, working in the Martinsville, New Jersey hardware store. He worked summers with local contractors and then enrolled in the Construction Industries program in Eugene, Oregon, where he discovered his talents and life-long affinity for fine woodworking. A permanent resident of Santa Fe since 1979, Will opened his own remodeling company in 1981 and began building new homes soon after. As a pioneer in the green building movement, he began building passive solar homes in 1984, when he teamed up with architect Paula Baker-Laporte to do custom solar homes. They went on to pioneer the creation of many of the country's first healthy homes. Will is an EcoNest Affiliate, having qualified through the EcoNest training and has to-date successfully completed three EcoNests in the Santa Fe area in collaboration with Paula and Robert. Will has focused on refining and developing his team of skilled coworkers and growing his business based on quality, honesty and integrity. Today, Will is here to assist you in creating the finest building project possible.

Will is a trustee of the Santa Fe Home Builders Association, and a member of the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce. Will has served on the Boards of numerous local organizations, and he is actively involved in all aspects of the Santa Fe business community.
