By Gretchen Leary & Melissa Anderson

EcoNest Clay Straw Wall |
Gretchen and Melissa are both Master of Architecture students at the University of Oregon. The two created a thorough and concise comparison between conventional walls and EcoNest Clay/Straw walls from a cost/benefit analysis standpoint.
We are very impressed by their comparison and wanted to share it with you to educate friends, neighbors and clients on the differences between natural clay/straw and conventional walls.
A New Year’s Message from Paula & Robert

As 2011 comes to a close we are feeling particularly blessed. Our home and new EcoNest Headquarters in Ashland Oregon is in the final stages of construction.
By the end of March we will once again have a nest of our own where we can demonstrate the joy and comfort of life in a natural home!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our dear friends and colleagues old and new who have been so supportive through the last two years of uprooting and re-rooting.
We wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2012!
With heartfelt blessings,
Paula Baker-Laporte FAIA & Robert Laporte,
EcoNest Founders
